   A young girl receives the Christmas gift of her dreams, but her parents have a different idea about how to care for it.


This Bird Has Flown  (15m) Carrie Noel, Dir.
   A fictional dance drama placed in the 1960’s that exposes the vulnerable yet quirky woman that John Lennon based the ballad, ‘Norwegian Wood’ upon. This film is rich in surreal design, Beatles’ references and is topped off with exceptionally visceral choreography by Rachael Lincoln.


Cute Couple (14m) Courtney Moorehead Balaker, Dir.
   Zach and Kendra are considered the cutest couple within their peer group. Unfortunately, that all ends when Tim and Tammy move into the neighborhood, knocking them off of their pedestal and forcing them to find a new identity amongst their friends.


Sal Mosca: Un-Sung (11m) James Lester, Dir.
   Winner of the 2008 MovieHatch.com Online 2 OnScreen award for best documentary, "Sal Mosca: Un-Sung" is a portrait of man who chose to sacrifice fame for the purity of his art. Director James Lester lets us peer into a hermit’s life where musical magic is made daily to no one. Mosca, who played with greats such as Lee Konitz, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, and Sarah Vaughn, died after the film’s completion.

Cowboy: A Love Story (6m) Jenny McNabb, Dir.
   The sly tale of a delusional young ranch hand who travels to the city on foot to win back his one true love.  Despite her disapproving family and her disinterest, he remains obsessed.

   Belly dancers Shariffa (Kelly Kerns) and Audrey Liu perform their mesmerising routine with Colorado's breathtaking San Luis Valley as their backdrop.


English Language (With English Subtitles) (18m) Tim Plester, Dir.
    A tenderly offbeat comedy about love and communication...or the lack thereof.


Migraine (5m) David M. Brandon, Dir.
    A girl who suffers massive migraines suspects her neighbor's personality may be driving her insane.


Kis-Ka-Dee (18m) Ryan Fitzgibbons, Dir.
   Every spring, the blind birders of the Rio Grande Valley of Southern Texas gather to compete in the "Outta Sight" tournament. The teams, while blind, learn to recognize a wealth of bird songs.  In the process they gain an appreciation fo their natural surroundings and a new lease on life.
